"On the beach, you can live in bliss."

I thought today was perfect for (finally) posting a few pics from our Hilton Head vacation... this being the first day of school, and all.

This was our first visit to Hilton Head, and we had a great time. Hannah and Michaela loved the beach. This was only our second family beach vacation... the girls were just 3 years and 18 months during our first trip to the beach, so neither one had any memories and wasn't quite sure what to expect. I figured they'd want to hang out at the pool more so than the beach, but they proved me quite wrong!

I read The Help last year and have been anxious for the movie version ever since. This is now one of my all-time favorite books, and I sure hope the movie gets it right!
