The girls and I took Shane out for dinner to celebrate his 39th(!) birthday:

Hannah, Michaela and I joined my mom and sister in viewing Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Our local theater had pirate-y props in the lobby which the girls found amusing:

I find it so amusing that the girls look completely underwhelmed in the ice cream picture. LOL! Glad you guys are having a great summer so far! Glad we have a couple of months left and lots more memories to make!
i keep trying to bug chris to read the hunger games. i actually try to get everyone that hasn't read it to read it.

So you liked The Hunger Games? I wasn't sure if it was something I would like or not.
I finally got Neil to read the Hunger Games too. He's hooked now and halfway through Catching Fire. He's a keeper.
If I was ever able to convince my husband to read a book that I recommend, I would try to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming, lol.
