Table Topics Tuesday: guess who's coming to dinner?

The table has been set, the fine cuisine has been prepared, the wine has been opened. Now all that's needed are the guests:

1. Ricky Gervais

Some people don't find him funny, but I think he's hilarious. I love his dry, British wit.

2. Salma Hayek

Sure, she's gorgeous... but she's also funny and smart. I just think Salma would have lots of interesting topics to talk about whilst we dine.

3. Daniel Craig

I don't really think I need to explain this choice.

And, yes... Daniel would be required to attend
sans shirt.

Duh.

my choices would be Ellen DeGeneres, Simon Cowell and Bradley Cooper. I would have chosen Sandra Bullock, but I don't think she'd be in the mood for a dinner party right now :-(

How funny! I knew #3 would be on your list.

Yeah, I thought about Sandra Bullock, too, but didn't think she'd be in the mood for a dinner party, either. #3...... went back and forth about that one all night.

Gosh! I don't know who I would invite...off the top of my head...Oprah, Martha Stewart, The Cake Boss and Curtis Stone (sexy chef:-)

Daniel is a given for you. I would have been shocked if he didn't make the list.

Selma really? I think her accent would wear me down. That's why I didn't go with Barbara Walters. I'm sure she has stories for days but her voice would kill me.

Of course he would come sans shirt... WHY would he have a shirt - that's just be dumb! ;)

I love Ricky Gervais... but I may have to go the opposite & say I want Steve Carrell! :)

Its really hard to think with that shirtless hunka hunka of burning love. Sigh. He's dreamy.

I'm totally with you on Ricky Gervais! He cracks me up. Selma Hayek does seem like a cook chick. She's so gorgeous. I bet she can throw down some tequila shots, too. PARTY!!!

I'd also love to have Ricky G over for dinner.

Joining him would be Anthony Bourdain, he would do all the cooking, and he'd get drunk with me and say bad things (and maybe even DO bad things..hehehe).

And of course, my boyfriend Jason Mraz would be in attendance, he'd sing to us as we got ever drunker after dinner and possibly join Anthony and I in a ....

crap, I'll stop there, this is a family blog after all...

nice list. I think Ricky Gervais is hilarious. Did you see him on the Marriage Ref? so funny. I think I would invite: Oprah, John Travolta, and Sandra Bullock. I would have blogged about it but I am fired up about something else today.

I'm a little late to the party but finally made it! I'll probably have to check out the rest of the posts tomorrow.

Anyway, this was fun!

Hmmm...do politicians count as celebrities? :-)

Well, not celebrity per se but someone who is well known. Condoleeza Rice would be one.

Okay, how about this -- Condoleeza Rice, Tom Selleck and Kathy Bates.

Is that too weird?

Um, yes, yes and YES. Amen.
