Old Man Winter can pack his bags and hit the road.

This has been some winter, hasn't it? I don't know about anyone else, but I am so ready for Spring to get here.

Alas, it doesn't look like warmer temps will be here anytime soon.

{sigh}

A few things that help me get through these cold days:

curling up with my favorite blanket and slippers...

eating a yummy-licious bowl of Baked Potato soup...

wrapping my hands around a hot cup of tea...

daydreaming about spending time on a warm, tropical beach...

with my cabana boy, of course...

How are you staying warm this winter?

Wearing three layers of clothes and two pair of socks at all times.

Cuddling up with my kiddos and watching back episodes of Lost and Glee, or reading a book.

Planning our garden.

But seriously, I'm still cold. And there's another inch of snow out there this morning and it's making me cranky!

(love your slippers!)

I feel like we have been snowed in here for weeks now, so we have been doing puzzles and watching movies!!

I am wearing sweaters that make me look 20 pounds heavier. Gloves. And actually wearing socks...which is not something I normally do. And right now I am reading a book about stifling hot India...that helps more than book I just read "Shiver" - about being cold!

I am so "over" this weather. I am ready for spring. Curling up by the fire with a good book is my fave.

I have to admit it's starting to wear me down, but at least it's been sunny the last few days and that helps!

I LOVE those slippers. My slipper addiction approves!

We have an electric blanket on our bed that I turn on about 9pm and let the bed get very toasty before getting in...hmmmm. Bliss.

Socks. Knee high socks all day, every day. My Fuggs. Hot chocolate. Two blankets. And the hope that spring will be here soon.

Let's see. I'm just an asshole. While you're bundled up on the couch with your hot tea, I'm sitting OUTSIDE. It's in the mid 40s and I'm sitting out here with nothing but slippers and a slanket. Well, and my little space heater. I love the cold! My bedroom window is open 1/3 of the way and it's supposed to go below freezing tonight.

Fuzzy, thick socks, my Snuggie and a toasty warm laptop. But there might be some thoughts of a beach vacation and a hot cabana boy, too.

Spring, I'm waiting for you.

Okay, so I gotta ask - where did you find your slippers? I asked for a pair of those for Christmas and no one could find them. And your bowl of baked potato soup makes me want to go make a big ole'pot. However, I have no potatoes, so it might be kind of hard. I think everyone is ready for warmer weather... I am just hoping that when we go to Florida next month, it'll be warm
