- You catch your child's vomit in your hands without blinking an eye.
- You make sure your kids are bathed and wearing clean clothes... but it's been two days since your last shower.
- You know it's a thankless job, but you really wouldn't have it any other way.

The first time I caught my daughter's puke, it was pure instinct. After the fact, I was like WHAT THE FRAK?! Did I just do that?
Phineus and Ferb totally rock.
Ahhhh....I have still never caught vomit in my hands, and am very glad of that.

This is one of the best "mom" lists I've seen in a long time...especially the puke part. You haven't lived until that happens....barf!
It's true--the puke thing does happen. You don't think about it at the time, and somehow you have to not let yourself think about it later....
I confess. I know all the words to every Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus/ Wiggles/Laurie Berkner song. And I do sing them when I am alone. What a funny post. I did one last week about catching puke too. And not to do it!

My kids are bathed, cleaned, and smell like Johnson & Johnsons.
My last shower was Friday.
Don't judge. I got my hair highlighted Saturday and didn't wash it yesterday so I could preserve some color integrity.

When I tried to hack my finger off a few weeks ago, the only band-aids we had were Spongebob. Got some weird looks in meetings. :-)
And I LOVE the music on Phineas and Ferb...
I have skipped the vomit part. Thank goodness.
But I know I have a drawer full of Sponge Bob and Hello Kitty bandaids.
And I have seen the Wiggles in concert. And liked it.
Ewww no puckage has been in my hands! But I do have lots of sponge bob band aids. Although I think the teen prefers the plain ones, so I end up wearing the cartoon characters.
My husband hates it when I say that I have to go potty. He's all, "You mean you have to go to the BATHROOM?" He especially hates it when I ask him if he has to go potties.
I don't hum the theme songs to those scary Hannah Montana shows or iCarly because if my son wants to watch those shows he has to watch them in his room. I cannot stand them for 5 minutes.

Oh, so true! Although, we're still watching Sprout and Noggin, so I haven't gotten up to speed on all the Hannah Montana lyrics yet. I do find the strains of Pooh's "Now's the time to Think, Think, Think" running through my brain at work from time to time, and then I get freaked out that I might have been humming out loud and my office mate will think I've totally lost it.
And your girls are beautiful by the way!
