Frozen Falls

Shane has begun a real interest in photography. He bought a digital SLR camera a few months ago, and will be taking a few photography classes this spring.

This past Saturday, he drove to Fall Creek Falls State Park (about an hour or so north of where we live), just to get some practice using the camera... these are a few of the photos he took that day:

Friday's Foto Finish Fiesta is hosted each week by Candid Carrie... go check out more fab fotos!

I've got to give a shoutout to my bloggy friend, Brooks! I won a giveaway she had on her blog... and my prize came in yesterday's mail. A beautiful bracelet and pair of matching earrings made by Brooks herself!

Thank you again, Brooks!

Man Fall Creeks Falls is gorgeous when frozen. We went there in November when we were visiting my parents and I thought it was gorgeous. It looks so cool all frozen.

Congrats on your win!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 2nd one! It's gorgeous.

The shutterbug...once it bites you, it's all over! I've been shooting with professional kit for a while now and could never go back to a point and shoot if I wanted to.

Seriously though, that second shot is amazing!
